Organizational Leadership

The three-part (nine hour) series nurtures three core qualities:

  • Acting with presence and authenticity
  • Demonstrating flexibility in the midst of complexity
  • Focusing on core purpose

Nine essential skills are taught in tandem with the three core qualities. Deployed together, they equip people with tools to increase productivity and harmony and steer a clearer course to success.

Denys Candy and Ron Porter designed this series to reflect on-the-ground challenges and opportunities they have encountered in a combined sixty years of consulting and training with diverse people on four continents.

In Health care and Human Services, the role of managers and front-line people alike is to take care of others while operating under pressure. This series is designed to offer practical answers to operational questions: While dedicated professionals go about their work, who takes care of the caregiver? How do they negotiate challenges with colleagues and administration? How can their clients or patients benefit even more from their support?
